Lila L. Kossow

Lila Lee Kossow, 87, died March 11, 2010 at Cambridge Place, Marysville. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 14 at the United Methodist Church, Marysville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery north of Marysville. Lila was born at Winifred, KS on September 25, 1922 to Charles and Blanche (Keeney) Stotts. She graduated from Marysville High School. She worked as a waitress at West Gate Restaurant in Marysville. She enjoyed fishing with the family, bowling, gardening,and being outdoors. She was a gentle soul, with an open door to her house. Lila is survived by son, Bill Kossow of Marysville; daughter Kathleen Longabach of San Luis Obispo, CA: 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Kenneth on April 3, 1962; and a brother, Claude Stotts. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated by the family at a later time.
