David Keith Craig, 57, of Marysville, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A memorial service was held at 6 p.m., Sunday, June 6, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Curtis Melcher officiated. David was born April 26, 1953 at Marysville, the son of Donald and Mary (McMahon) Craig. He graduated from Summerfield High School in 1973 and then attended Emporia State University. He worked road construction for Reno Construction and worked as an aide at Mary Marshall Manor and Community Memorial Healthcare. He also worked as desk clerk at Heritage Inn. David enjoyed reading and spending time at Big Indian Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his partner, Michael Roberts; son, Kyle Craig and wife Ashley of North Platte, NE; four sisters, Donna Craig, Barbara Edwards and husband Arlin, all of Marysville, Caryl Thomas of Beatrice, NE, Phyllis Jeanneret of Ponca City, OK; and four grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
