Waneta McMillan

Waneta McMillan, 85, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Stormont Vail in Topeka. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 17, at the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Rev. Dale Lewis officiated. Deb Landoll played the organ and Rev. Dale Lewis sang “How Great Thou Art” and “Save a Place for Me”. The pallbearers were Nicole Holland, Melissa Durrant, David Grauer, Doug Grauer, Brian Grauer and Trent Moser. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Waneta was born August18, 1924 at Marysville, daughter of Emil Chris and Gladys W. (Chadwell) Grauer. She was a homemaker, worked at City Sewing and Habitat Thrift Shop. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Mather, Topeka; and son, Ronald McMillan, Clearwater, FL; two brothers, Harold Grauer, Manhattan, Norman Grauer, Marysville; sister, Maureen Moser, Marysville; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Her parents; three children, Rick, Paula, and Bob; brother, Maurice Grauer; and fiancee, Arnold Genschorck, preceded her in death. Memorials will go towards purchasing hearing devices at the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
