Pauline Amy Kohrdt, 79, of Wymore, Neb., formerly of Frankfort, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at her home in Wymore. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, at the United Methodist Church in Frankfort. The Rev. Norma Jeane Miller officiated. The musician was Jane Sedlacek. Music included "On Eagles Wings", "Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art". The pallbearers were Steve Jones, Willie Jones, Matt Jones, Mike Holliday, Ray McGehee and Dan Dethoud. The honorary pallbearers were Doug Kiessling and Heather Kiessling. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery southwest of Frankfort. Pauline was born on December 8, 1930 at Burwell, NE, daughter of George, Sr. and Amy (Hoagland) Schreier. She married Donald Kiessling. They later divorced. In October 1961, she married Bill Kohrdt. He preceded her in death. She shared the past seven years with her special friend and companion, George Holliday, living two years at Frankfort and the past five years at Wymore. Survivors include two daughters, Edith "Eydie" Jones and husband David of Frankfort, Joan Storzer and husband Carl of St. Louis, Missouri; five sons, Edward, Jerry, John, Terry, and Clyde Kiessling, all of Washington State; two sisters, Betty Moore and Muriel Gibbs; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Bill Kohrdt; daughter, Patricia Kohrdt; five brothers, Robert, Jack, George, Carl, and Roger; sister, Pat; and three grandchildren, David E. McGehee-Kiessling, Crystal McGehee-Kiessling and Rayleen McGehee-Kiessling, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions will be designated later and can be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel.
