Jean Kraemer, 92, Marysville, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, at Memorial Presbyterian Church, Marysville. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Jean was born in 1918 in Humboldt. She moved to Marysville in 1941, where she met and married Arlyn Kraemer, then taught at Lincoln School and the Bommer country school, and worked as a secretary at the Marysville Junior High School for many years. She was active in many Marysville clubs and causes, and in the Presbyterian Church. She was an RSVP Volunteer of the Year, the Kiwanis Outstanding Citizen of the Year and Honorary Life Member of Presbyterian Women. Jean enjoyed spending time with and listening to friends and family and was known for her homemade cookies. Survivors include her son, Chuck, of Boston, and two grandchildren.
