Raymond G. Fincham, 81, of Topeka and formerly of Marysville, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka. A funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 16 at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Burial with military honors was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Raymond was born September 25, 1929 at Blue Rapids, Kansas, the son of Russell Raymond and Grace K. Pollock Fincham. On December 24, 1960, he married Janice Louise Haner. He was a Roadway Machinist for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years in Marysville and then in Topeka. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Janice Fincham of Topeka; two daughters, Janell Fincham and Sheryl Fincham, both of Topeka; son, Raymond Lynn Fincham and wife Sara of Topeka; son-in-laws, Pete Gonzales and Loren Lacy, both of Topeka; five grandchildren, Chelsi Gonzales, Morgan Simpson, Samantha Fincham, Ellie Fincham and Jack Raymond Fincham, all of Topeka; two sisters, Marge Reed of Hoyt, KS, and Katherine Johnson of Hanover, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sondra Cook; and one brother, James R. Fincham. Memorials will be designated later and can be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
