Sheryl L. Probst, 51, of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 20 at Kinsley Mortuary. The Rev. Joel Barber officiated. The pallbearers were Bill Strong, Jesse Probst, Jeremy Lopez, Leroy Lopez, Dennis Hartley and Justin Sutterlin. The honorary pallbearer was Alek Klepper. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Sheryl was born October 21, 1959 at Beatrice, Nebraska, the daughter of Larry and Sharon Volesky Probst. She was a waitress at restaurants in Nebraska, Florida, and the Cracker Barrell in Tennessee for 12 years. She enjoyed her plants, gardening, cooking, watching Nebraska football and her cat. Sheryl has lived in Marysville the last 7 years. Survivors include her special friend, Ronald Brooks of Marysville; mother, Sharon Albert of Beatrice; son, Michael Probst and wife, Laura of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Jamee Hartmann of Tennessee; two grandsons, Austin and Braden Probst of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, James Probst of Beatrice; sisters, Rhonda Lopez and husband Leroy of Beatrice, Angela Klepper and special friend James Duitsman of Odell, Nebraska; four nephews, Leroy Lopez, Jeremy Lopez and Jessie Probst, all of Beatrice, and Alek Klepper of Odell. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Probst; brother, Steven Probst; brother-in-law, Eric Klepper; grandparents, Pearl Herring, John Volesky, Hattie Harris and Frank Probst.
