Helen F. Horsky

Helen F. Horsky, 95, of Marysville, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 8, at Kinsley Mortuary. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Helen was born on January 9, 1915 at Barneston, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Josephine (Ineck) Blaker. She graduated from Barneston High School. She married Jesse Horsky, and they were the parents of one son, Mark. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and playing cards. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Kansas Jayhawks. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse, in 1974; son, Mark, in 1992; and sisters, Irene Zarybnicky and Frances Baker. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gregory's Catholic School or Meadowlark Hospice and sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
