Annabelle Lee Rinehart, 92, of Topeka, KS, and formerly of Frankfort, died Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Healthcare Resort of Topeka, KS. Visitation was held Sunday, August 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, at the United Methodist Church in Frankfort. Rev. Jim Akins officiated. The pallbearers were Scott Rinehart, Ryan Rinehart, Ron Green, Shawn Moriarty , Kevin Moriarty and Henry Littleton. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery. Annabelle was born July 16, 1930, south of Vermillion, KS, to Harold and Mayme Bell (Heath) Hope. On September 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Mark Rinehart. Annabelle worked for KPL (now Evergy) in the 1950’s and early 60’s, until she became a stay-at-home mom for their children. She later worked in healthcare in the area for many years until her retirement. The places she worked included the Frankfort Community Care Home, Dechairo Clinic, and Pottawatomie County Health Department. She was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church, served as a Frankfort City Council member in the mid 80’s, and was a long-time member of the Antioch Cemetery Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Dorothy Moriarty, Carol Patridge, Max Hope and Lonnie Gail Hope. Survivors include children, Mike (Cathy) Rinehart and Kay Rinehart, both of Topeka; grandsons, Scott (Kelsey) Rinehart, Ryan (Hannah Wheat) Rinehart, and their mother, Leeta Sanders; step granddaughters, Kristen (Stephen) Littleton and Whitney (Jacob) Bond; great-grandchildren, Henry, Charles Littleton, Navy Rinehart and Judah Bond as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial fund has been established for the United Methodist Church or Antioch Cemetery. Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel.
