Annette Rae Pacha Smith, 46, of Marysville, KS, died September 8, 2022, at her home. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 13 at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A rosary service was held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Marysville. Father Quentin Schmitz officiated. The musicians were Sterling Clark and Paula Landoll-Smith. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Father Quentin Schmitz officiated. The musicians were Rosemary Forst and Ron and Fran Grauer. Music included “Carry Me Home”, “One Bread, One Body”, “Song of Farewell”, “Lead Me Lord” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth”. The pallbearers were Keith Warders, John Kerr, Steve Smith, Steve Pacha, Danny Parmentier and Eric Stichternath. Burial was in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery. Annette was born February 3, 1976, in Kansas City, KS. She was adopted at birth by Raymond F. and Katherine D. (Costello) Pacha. After graduating from Marysville High School in 1994, she worked a variety of jobs before returning to Marysville and worked for many years at Landoll Corporation. Annette enjoyed thrift shopping, chatting with friends and acquaintances she would run into around town, and hanging out with friends. She loved animals, especially her dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine; sister, Anne Marie; and nephew, Corey. Survivors include her son, Alexander Kerr, Lawrence, KS; father, Raymond, Marysville; brother, Robert Pacha, Marysville; sisters, Julia (Rod) Larsen, Arvada, CO, and Rebecca Pacha, Marysville; nephew, Keith Warders, Manhattan, KS; nieces, Jaeden Schneider and Lauren Schneider, Arvada, CO, and Rowan Pacha, Marysville; aunts, Cheryl Kurth, North Platte, NE, Kay Pacha, Marysville, and Patty Funke, Fargo, ND; and numerous cousins. She will also be missed by her special friend, Steven, who loved her dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
