Brian Joseph Estes, 49, Marysville, died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Community Memorial Health Center in Marysville. Visitation was Sunday, August 30, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 31 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Marysville. Father Quentin Schmitz officiated. The organist was Rosemary Forst and the song leader was Paula Landoll-Smith. Music included “Go in Peace”, “Here I Am Lord”, “The Lord is My Shepherd”, “On Eagles Wings” and “How Great Thou Art”. The pallbearers were Phil Holle, Ron McHugh, Dan Pacha, Ed Larson, Mike Seematter, Willy Ackerman and Terry Zimmerling. The honorary pallbearers were Jan Schell, Airon Tuttle, Tim Scheele, Dave Lanning, Darrin Schell, Marcus Haas, Ronnie Haas, Kevin Parker, Kenny Claeys, Marty Nordhus and Jess Schoenberger. Burial was in the Marysville City Cemetery. Brian was born on January 4, 1971 in Marysville to Donald and Regina (Polzar) Estes. He graduated from Marysville High School. Brian married Peggy Kneisel and they raised two children, Jason and Tara. He was a painter at Titan Manufacturing, had worked for Tyler Martin and did mechanic work. Brian enjoyed taking day trips on his motorcycle, rat terrier dogs and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. Brian was a past member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Peggy; son, Jason Rosenberger; daughter, Tara Lockhart; brother, Rex (Jill) Estes; sister, Sue Estes; four grandchildren, Makayla, Spencer, Chase and Deryk; and nieces and nephews.
