Carol M. Stout

Carol Marie Stout, 84, Hanover, died Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Hanover Hospital in Hanover. Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 12 at the Hanover Mortuary. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 13 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanover. Burial will be in the Hanover Cemetery. Carol was born in Hanover on January 25, 1938, the daughter of Henry and Lucille (Munstermann) Mallean. After graduation from high school, she met and married George Stout of Steeleville, MO. One son, George, was born of this union. They later divorced. Carol worked in the food service industry for many years. She retired from Hanover High School where she worked in the school cafeteria as a cook. This was a job she greatly enjoyed. After retirement, she lived in Hanover with her beloved dachshund. She also enjoyed reading and growing flowers. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Henry George Mallean and Bill R. Mallean Survivors include her son, George (Debra) Stout, Hollenberg; nephews, Tony (Laura) Mallean, Manhattan, Sean Mallean, Macon, GA; and niece, Tanya Mallean, Los Angeles, CA.
