Eva L. Cammel

October 27, 1930 — January 9, 2019

Eva L. Cammel, 88, Marysville, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Community Memorial Healthcare, Marysville, Kan.   Visitation was from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday, January 13 at Kinsley Mortuary.  The family  received friends from 5 to 7 p.m.   A funeral service was 10 a.m., Monday, January 14 at Kinsley Mortuary.  Gary Phillips officiated. Musicians were Deb Landoll and Wayne Kruse.  Music was "How Great Thou Art" and "On Eagles Wings."   Private family burial was in Marysville City Cemetery.   Eva was born to J. Lyle and Fay (Woodward) Henderson on October 27, 1930 at Beatrice, Nebr.  In 1948, she graduated from Wymore High School, Wymore, Nebr.   Eva was united in marriage to Edwin D. Cammel on June 10, 1950 at Marysville.  She worked at Pepsi Bottling Company and then worked as a bookkeeper for City Sewing Machine for fifteen years  Eva was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She liked to read, work crossword puzzles and play cards.  Eva especially enjoyed attending her family and grandchildren’s activities.   Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Edwin in 2012; and brother, Mervyn L. Henderson, Sr.   Survivors include daughter, Cathy (Gary) Lindquist, Marysville; son, Robert (Laurie) Cammel, Riley; grandchildren, Lance (Jacki) Lindquist, April (Heath) Todd, Erin Cammel; great grandson, Quentin Seals and step great grandsons, Troy Todd and Tyler Todd.   A memorial fund is established to Marshall County Historical Society or American Legion Post #163.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.   To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Eva L.
