Frank L. Feldhausen, 84, of Bremen, KS, died July 14, 2023, at Country Place Senior Living in Marysville. Visitation was Monday, July 17, from 1 to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, north-east of Bremen. Rev. Aaron T. Fenker, Sr., officiated. The pallbearers were Steve Ohlde, Alan Ohlde, Tim Ohlde, Terry Ohlde, Robert Willson, Jeffrey Willson and Kurtis Crome. Burial was in the church cemetery. Frank was born November 23, 1938, near Linn, KS, son of Frank M. and Velma (Hornbostel) Feldhausen. He attended St. John’s Lutheran School near Palmer, Linn Lutheran School and graduated from Linn High School. After high school, Frank worked at Meyer Lumberyard in Kansas City, Howell Lumberyard in Marysville, helped survey land for the Marysville ASCS office, did snow removal and farmed near Herkimer and Bremen. On June 14, 1959, he married Volanda E. Crome at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Bremen. He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques, boating and skiing with his family when they were younger, and old cars. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Volanda, on May 18, 2013; parents; infant sister, Sharon Feldhausen; and daughter-in-law, Debra K. Feldhausen. Survivors include his children, Frank K. Feldhausen, Narka, KS, Douglas L. (Jeannie) Feldhausen, Burlington, KS, and Nancy R. (Fred) Fincham, Bremen; sisters, Norma Ohlde, Linn, KS, Marcia Willson, Thornton, CO, and Carolyn Johns, Brighton, CO; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established to the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
