Gary L. Blocker

Gary Leon Blocker, 85 of Tulsa, OK, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1935 in Marysville, KS, to Oscar H. Blocker and Vida M. Barlow Blocker. He married the love of his life, Dora Hill on September 6, 1958 and they shared in over 60 wonderful years together before her passing in 2018. Survivors include two children, Greg Blocker of Edmond, OK, and Dorinda (Kent) Carver, Skiatook, OK; two grandchildren, Courtney Grove, Skiatook, and Zachary (Paytyn) Thomas Blocker, Edmond; four great-grandchildren, Deanna Grove, Titus Alexander Raftery-Blocker, Caydence Brock and Ryhott Thomas Blocker; sister, Phyllis Libby, Marysville, KS; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Dora Blocker. Graveside memorial services will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery in Marysville.
