Harold E. Slifer

Harold E. Slifer, 91, of Frankfort, Kan., died November 16, 2018 at the Frankfort Community Care Home.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20 at the Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort.  Visitation will begin one hour before service time.Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery near Frankfort.Harold was born January 11, 1927, at Ulysses, Kan., to George Lawrence and Gladys May (Thomas) Slifer.  He was a raised livestock and helped area farmers.He enjoyed cats, dogs, animals and hogs.  Also, Chevrolet trucks and cars.Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joy Sue Otts; and brothers, Virgil and Don Slifer.His brothers, Kenneth and Verlin Slifer, both of Frankfort, survive.A memorial fund has been established to the Frankfort Community Care Home.  Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel.
