Helen D. Kraemer, 101, of Kansas City, Kan., and formerly of Marysville, Kan., died April 25, 2018 at her residence.Visitation will be Monday, April 30, from 1 to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 1 at Kinsley Mortuary. Deacon Steve Livingston will officiate. Dr. Mario Pearson will play the organ while Shirley Fowler sings “How Great Thou Art”, “On Eagles Wings” and “Amazing Grace”.The pallbearers will be James Baker, Jerry Wecker, Bart Livingston, Will Kirkham, Robert Shelburne and Patrick Kirkham.Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery.Helen was born April 4, 1917 at Frankfort, Kan., daughter of George and Etta (Jillson) Hersh.She worked for Judge McLaughlin and later was the office manager for the Federal Crop Insurance office in Marysville. Helen also co-owned Kraemer’s Grocery with her husband.Helen was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed reading and watching television.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren in 2004; siblings, Gerald, Frank, Emily, Alice, Benjamin and George; and one grandson.Survivors include her three daughters, Janet Wecker and Linda Grund, both of Marysville, and Donna (Steve) Livingston, Kansas City, Kan.; and ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
