Jeanette R. Minge, 69, of Hanover, KS, died August 19, 2021at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Visitation will be Monday, August 23, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Hanover Mortuary in Hanover. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church north of Hanover. Rev. Rodney Fritz will officiate. Music will include “I Know My Redeemer Lives”, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “On Eagles Wings”. The pallbearers will be Doug Reznicek, Dave Reznicek, Dan Reznicek, Scot Bauer, Todd Minge and Doug Minge. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Jeanette was born on December 13, 1951, in Columbus, NE, daughter of Cyril and Marie (Hruska) Reznicek. On December 30, 1951, she was baptized into the Christian faith at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ulysses, NE. On January 27, 1974, she completed adult confirmation classes at Trinity Lutheran Church, becoming a communicant member of the congregation. She graduated from David City High School in David City, NE. On June 16, 1973, Jeanette was united in marriage to Lawrence Minge. Jeanette worked as a ward clerk at Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville and as a Lab Tech and X-Ray Tech at the Hanover Hospital. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, canning, deer hunting, and collecting red birds (Cardinals). She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s softball and baseball games. Family gatherings, especially to celebrate birthdays were very important to her. She loved visiting the mountains with her family and watching the elk and the Aspen trees changing colors. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Reznicek; two infant brothers, Donald and Larry Reznicek; brother-in-law, Don Foster; and two grandchildren, Gaven Lee Behrends and Sawyer Annell Polson. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; three daughters, Stacy (Russ) Behrends, Hanover, Sarah (Tyler) Seite, Lincoln, NE, and Shelly (Jeff) Polson, Beattie, KS; two sisters, Betty Foster, David City, NE, and Patricia (Bernie) Kobza, Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Carol Reznicek, Surprise, NE; and eight grandchildren, Avery and Hayden Behrends, Maddox and Tripp Seite, and Noah, Isabella, Otto, and Dylan Polson. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary.
