Joe Alan Graham, 55, of Oketo, KS, passed away February 25, 2024.

Visitation was Tuesday, March 5, from 2-9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.  The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, at Kinsley Mortuary.

The pallbearers were Alan Hellbusch, Todd Albers, Bob Larkin, Al Klecan, John Remmers and Todd Wilcox.

Joe was born on March 18, 1968, to Ross “Doc” and Donna Rae (Fredrickson) Graham at Beatrice, NE.  He grew up in Barneston, NE, and graduated in 1986 from Odell Public School.   From there, he went on and received his associate degree at Southeast Community College in Milford, NE.  On September 10, 1994, he was united in marriage to Melanee Remmers at the United Methodist Church in Oketo.  To this union, they were blessed with a daughter, Caitlyn Rae Graham, and a son, David John “DJ” Remmers.  

Prior to Joe working for Union Pacific Railroad as a track regulator and tamper, he worked at Ernie’s Imports, east of Beatrice, NE, for a few  years.  

Joe was a very giving person, wanting everyone to be happy.  He loved NHRA, traveling with his family and friends to many races.  Joe liked to host friends and family at his house, preparing lots of different dishes and BBQ.  In his free time, he liked to watch the discovery and history channels, along with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

For many years, Joe was a member of the Barneston American Legion where he wore many hats.

Preceding him in death is his father.

Survivors include his wife, Melanee; daughter, Caitlyn Graham, Marysville; son, DJ Remmers, Salina, KS; mother, Donna Rae Graham, Barneston; siblings, Janice Graham, Beatrice, and Jerald (Rhonda) Graham, Moody, AL; in-laws, John Remmers, Blue Springs, NE, and Brenda Williams, Blue Springs; and nieces and nephews. 

Joe was loved and will be missed by many, including his dog whom he was a proud dog dad to.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
