Jon Daniel Earwood

Jon Daniel “JD” Earwood, 26, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Jon was born April 28, 1994 to Raymond Lee and Kathy (Bigham) Earwood at Rome, GA. In 2012, he graduated Farnam High School in Eustis, NE. Then in 2014, he graduated Chadron Pine Ridge Job Corps with certifications in concrete and welding. Early on, he worked for the Dairy Queen in Cozad, NE. Then in 2014, went to work for the Landoll Corporation. He loved his job, knowing he was helping the farming community. He became friends with all his co-workers. Jon would enjoy being home in Nebraska with his family and friends. Most of all he loved spending time with his little buddy (son) Thomas, going fishing or riding his motorcycle. Jon was a great father, son and friend. Preceding him in death was his father, Raymond; and his maternal grandparents. Survivors include his mother and father, Kathy and John McReynolds, Eustis, NE; son, Thomas Lee Earwood, Gresham, NE; siblings, Dustin Earwood, Eustis, NE, Elizabeth Bressette, Rome, GA; paternal grandmother, Cindy Chapman, Rome, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
