Joyce Arlene Holt (Rockwell), 78, of Kansas City, MO, passed away March 5, 2025.
A graveside funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, at the Marysville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Holt was born November 21, 1946, in Belleville, IL to Frank and Dorothy (Quellmalz) Rockwell. In 1965, she graduated from East High School in Kansas City, MO.
Joyce had a distinguished career with Trans World Airlines. She was a devoted pet parent to both cats and dogs, and a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. In her golden years, she took pleasure in gardening and caring for "her birds," watching them with immense joy.
Preceding her in death is her husband of 51 years, Carl Eugene; and parents Frank and Dorothy Rockwell.
Survivors include her children Mark Ledkins, Berea, KY, Jason Rockwell, Houston, TX, and LaTisha Holt, Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Kristina Rockwell-Harrington, Shreveport, LA and Kyle Rockwell, Colorado Springs, CO; and great grandchildren, Christopher Rockwell, Tyler and Searra Harrington.
Memorial contributions may be given to the KC Pet Project in care of Kinsley Mortuary, PO Box 147, Marysville, KS 66508.
