Judy Martin, 76, of Hanover, KS, died March 15, 2020 at the Hanover Hospital in Hanover. Visitation was Thursday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hanover Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John’s Catholic Church, Hanover, Kansas. Father Joseph Kieffer officiated. The organist was Janet Fritschi and the hymns were “On Eagles Wings,” “You Are Mine,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria” and “How Great Thou Art.” Pallbearers were Dillon Dreyer, Forrest Dreyer, Jonathan Martin, Zachary Zarybnicky, Adam Koehler and Zach Bruna. Burial was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Hanover, Kansas. Judy was born on June 21, 1943 at Onaga to Carl and Betty (Miller) Adair. She graduated from Marysville High School. On June 16, 1962, she was united in marriage to Bob Martin at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hanover. Judy was a homemaker and worked for the Hanover Hospital then as secretary for St. John’s Catholic School. She was the treasurer for Friends of the Hollenberg Station for several years. Judy was owner/operator of BJ Kennels, several years, along with Bob. She was a member of St John’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Judy belonged to the Red Hat Society and loved to sew quilts. Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Marcy Martin; sisters, Virginia Hall, Annette Adair; and brothers, Richard Adair and Chuck Adair. Survivors include her husband, Bob; children, Jim Martin, Hollenberg, Shari (Jerry) Dreyer, Salina, Kevin (Peggy) Martin, Bennington; grandchildren, Skylar (Kenny) Holmes, Dillon Dreyer, Forrest Dreyer, Shyanne Dreyer, Jonathan Martin and Kristin Martin; and two great grandchildren, Spencer Holmes and Drax Holmes. A memorial fund has been established to St. John's Catholic Church. Contributions may be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary. Funeral Service for Judy Martin
