Evelyn “June” (Graff) Myers, 93, of Manhattan, KS, passed away on May 24, 2023. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Marysville. Visitation was held before the funeral from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial followed in the Marysville City Cemetery. June was born June 17, 1929, in Fairfield, NE, to Dewey and Madge (Marcoux) Graff. She attended school in St. Joseph, MO, Seneca, KS, and Marysville High School, graduating in the class of 1947. June went on to study Interior Design at Kansas State University. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority for 75 years and forged many lifelong friendships. On June 11, 1950, June was united in marriage to Micheal Rowland Myers at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Marysville. To this union they were blessed with 3 sons. They resided in Marysville, Waterville and Manhattan. June was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed golfing, watercolor painting, exercise classes, and playing bridge. June loved interior design and used her knowledge of it to renovate their Victorian home in Waterville. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Preceding her in death is her husband; parents; sister, Patty Graff; and many friends. Survivors include her sons, Mike Myers, Lawrence, KS, Stan (Jill) Myers, Manhattan, Chris Myers, Perry, KS; granddaughters, Lauren (Cory) Strathman, Holly (Stratton) Bachman and April Myers; great-grandchildren, Brodie, Bennett, Sloane and Harper; and nephew, Scott Graff. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the excellent care and all the activities provided to June at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community, especially during the Covid pandemic and June’s last 2 months at the Bramlage House. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Marysville Historic Train Depot where June’s father served the railroad as a telegrapher for 25 years.
