Kathryn Nadine Adkins, 69, Waterville, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Blue Valley Senior Living in Blue Rapids. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, from noon until 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 9 at the Berean Church, Marysville. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery Blue Rapids, KS. Kathryn was born on December 6, 1950 in Stockton, CA to David C. Enoch and Nadine (Wilson) Edwards. In 1969, she graduated from Frankfort High School. Kathryn was a radiology tech at the Community Memorial Healthcare and was the first certified female welder for Landoll’s Corporation. She enjoyed doing art, drawing cartoons and portraits also crocheting. She was married to Wayne Tillotson, Larry Adkins and Barry Schmidt. They all later divorced. Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, Louis Edwards. Survivors include sons, Jim Tillotson (Hannah), Blue Rapids, David Tillotson (Lisa), Topeka; daughter, Jacquelyn Little (Jeremy), Kansas City KS; stepfather, Billy Edwards Sr., Blue Rapids; three sisters, Linda Haecker (Joe), Blue Rapids, Corrine Tate (Chester), Batesville, AR, Cindy Adkins (Arnold), Blue Rapids; two brothers, David Enoch (Mary Sue), Batesville, AR; Billy Edwards Jr. (Cathy) Blue Rapids; and six grandchildren. A memorial fund is established to St. Francis Cancer Center, Blue Valley Senior Living or Meadowlark Hospice. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
