Lane J. Breeding

Lane J. Breeding, 65, of Herkimer, KS, died December 12, 2020 at Seneca. Visitation was Tuesday, December 15, from noon to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Masks were required. A private funeral service, for immediate family only, was held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 16 at Kinsley Mortuary. The funeral service was shown live on the Kinsley Mortuary Facebook page. Burial was in Marysville City Cemetery. Lane was born January 28, 1955 in Marysville to Eugene and Sue (Tunison) Breeding. He attended Deer Creek Schools and graduated in 1973, from Marysville High School. Lane worked for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, owned Breeding Plumbing in Topeka, worked at Montara Plumbing and finished his career at B & W Electric in Hanover. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Lane had a great joy for Beatles Memorabilia, working on old cars and trucks and spent many hours in his basement with his HO cars. Survivors include his mother, Sue Breeding, Topeka; sons, Eric James (Becky) Breeding, Centralia, Andrew Francis (Charesa) Breeding, Topeka; granddaughter, Blakely James Breeding; step grandson, Brennan Carver; brother, Stuart (Juanita) Breeding, Burlingame; sister, JoNell (Tony) Wissing, Olathe; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
