LaVonne C. Germeroth, 76, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Centennial Homestead in Washington. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, from noon until 8 p.m. at the Hanover Mortuary in Hanover. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 7 at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Bremen. Rev. Aaron T. Fenker officiating. Bev Crome will be the organist. Music will include “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, “Jesus Christ My Sure Defense” and “I’m But a Stranger Here”. The pallbearers will be Dale Bruna, Kurtis Bruna, Kevin Bruna, Dan Jueneman, Fred Edwards, John Jueneman, Rocky Edwards and Darrell Schlabach. Burial will be in the church cemetery. LaVonne was born September 23, 1944, at Hollenberg, KS, to Herman and Luella (Koeneke) Rettig. On August 19, 1961, LaVonne married Darrel Germeroth at the Zion State Line Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Darrel; daughter, Sarah Germeroth; and infant daughter, Charlene. Survivors include her brother-in-law, Donald Germeroth, Pahlonega, GA; best friend, Elaine Berger, Barnes; nieces, nephews and cousins.
