Lucille Emilie Munstermann

Lucille Emilie Munstermann, 94, Hanover, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Reflection Living Minnie House in Wichita.Visitation was Monday, March 12 at the Hanover Mortuary from 3 until 8 p.m.  The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m.A funeral service was held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 13 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover.  Rev. Rodney Fritz officiated.  Arlyce Klipp played the organ while David Heuer sang “How Great Thou Art”.  The congregation sang “My Course Is Run”, “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Asleep in Jesus”.The pallbearers were Brett Munstermann, Kenny Munstermann, Stanley Mueller, Rick Applegarth, Dale Adam and Doug Minge.Burial was in the church cemetery. Lucille was born on December 14, 1923 at rural Linn, Kan. to Martin and Emma (Bickman) Mueller.  On May 9, 1948, she was united in marriage to Herman Munstermann at Trinity Lutheran.Lucille was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman; brothers, Alvin Mueller, Clarence Mueller, Marvin Mueller and two infant brothers, Raymond and Verlin; and sister, Darlene Applegarth.  Survivors include her sons, Jerry Munstermann and Mark Munstermann, both of Wichita, Bruce Munsterman, Auburn; and two grandchildren, Brett and Hannah.A memorial fund is established to the church or to the Lutheran Hour.  Contributions may be sent in care of the Hanover Mortuary.
