Lynn "Farmer" D. Lord

Lynn "Farmer" Lord, 69, of Marysville, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. Visitation will be Friday, November 12, from noon to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Rev. Insung Kim will officiate. Lynn was born in Marysville to Wallace and Ruth (Shubert) Lord on November 23. 1951. In 1969, he graduated from Marysville High School and served in the U. S. Navy. He attended welding school in California and in 1975 hired on with Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 2011. He presently was working at F & H Ironworks. Lynn was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, spoiling his grandchildren and working with his sons, motorcycles. He enjoyed watching football and baseball. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Connie; and brother, Wallace Lord, Jr. Survivors include his children, Seth Lord, David (Stevie) Lord; adopted daughter, Shylia Hurley; adopted son, Adrian Young; stepdaughters, Michelle Smith and Danielle Eaton; siblings, Johnnie (Maggie) Lord, Edwin (Christa) Lord, Karen (Jim) Schell, Steven (Kimberly) Lord, Kathy (Dave) Wilson and Robert Lord; and grandchildren, Jett Lord, Anastasia Lord, Jaxson Lord, Elycia Lord and Jozie Lord. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
