Walker “Lynn” Feldhausen, 64, of Frankfort, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. The family received friends Tuesday, January 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16 at the Frankfort United Methodist Church. Rev. Jim Akins officiated. The musicians were Janet Plegge and Charissa Shirley. Music selections were “Amazing Grace”, “In the Garden”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “You Are My Sunshine”. The honorary pallbearers were Kenny Coggins, Todd Ackerman, Tracy Stewart, Eric Bohlken, John Perry and Randy Slifer. Lynn was born February 16, 1954 in Marysville to Harold and Iris (Dunham) Feldhausen. He was a 1972 graduate of Manhattan High School and attended Manhattan Vo-Tech and studied printing. He worked for K-State and Ag Press in their printing departments. In 1995, Lynn went to Topeka Police Academy and became Chief of Police for Frankfort. After that, he was a Deputy Sheriff for Marshall County, twenty-one years. He retired and ran for Marshall County Commissioner for District 3. He served two years of his four-year term. On August 4, 1990, he married Virginia Owens in Frankfort. She survives. Other survivors include children, Colette Feldhausen, Frankfort, Scott (Nichole) Feldhausen, Waterville; brother, Dale (Kathy) Feldhausen, Manhattan; grandchildren, Logan and Adalynn Feldhausen; and nephew and niece, Trevor (Missy) Feldhausen, Liberal and Rusti (Jayme), Manhattan. Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Wendell “Butch” Feldhausen. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
