Norbert F. Bramlage, 95, Frankfort, passed away February 3, 2025, at his home.
A visitation was held on Friday, February 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort.
A rosary service was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Father Anthony Chendumalli officiated. The musicians were Marilyn Dressman and Bill Gallagher. Music included "Amazing Grace", "One Bread, One Body", "On Eagle's Wings", "Song of Farewell", and "How Great Thou Art."
Burial followed at 1:30 p.m., at St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery in Marysville.
Norbert was born on September 19, 1929, at Hanover, KS, to Henry and Mary (Goeckel) Bramlage. He served as a cook in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge, Norbert farmed near Frankfort and later went on to work for Marshall County operating a road grader.
He enjoyed going to coffee at the local gas station, visiting with friends and playing cards at the old pool hall. Norbert was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church and American Legion.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and siblings, Bill Bramlage, Ben Bramlage, Gilbert Bramlage, Francis Bramlage, Irene Sandmann and Mary Ann Rombeck.
Norbert is survived by many nieces and nephews.
