Norman A. Volle, 89, of Summerfield, Kan., died August 16, 2018 at Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, Neb.
Visitation is Sunday, August 19 from 1 to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 20 at Kinsley Mortuary. Gary Phillips will officiate. Deb Landoll will play the organ while Wayne Kruse sings "On Eagles Wings" and "Amazing Grace".
The pallbearers will be Andy Barnhill, Loriann Volle, George Volle, Leon Volle, Jonathon Volle, Tina Volle and Joseph Volle.
The honorary pallbearers will be Justin Riffey, Tyler Genschorck, Daniel Genschorck, Ashley Genschork, Samantha Farr and Christopher Volle.
Burial will be in the Summerfield Cemetery.
Norman was born January 30, 1929 at Summerfield, Kan., son of Albert and Minnie (Transue) Volle. In 1946, he graduated from Summerfield High School. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army. Norman farmed and raised livestock with his brothers. He enjoyed his work.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mervin Volle and Arnold Volle.
Survivors include his brother, Loren Volle, Summerfield; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
