Ralph C. Miller, 89, of Frankfort, KS, died January 30, 2023, at the Frankfort Community Care Home surrounded by family. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, at Annunciation Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Frankfort. Ralph was born February 25, 1933, in Bigelow, KS, son of Joseph and Kathryn (Otto) Miller. He attended Elementary School in Irving and in 1952, graduated from Frankfort High School. Ralph served in the Army from 1956 to 1957. On February 15, 1958, he married Sandra June Carlson at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Irving, KS. After marrying, they started farming in the Winifred, KS area where Ralph farmed for 54 years. Ralph was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort. He enjoyed playing cards (especially late night blu-ray games) with family and friends, boating, snow-skiing, golfing in later years, family reunions, spending time with his kids and grandkids and sporting events (K-State/KU). Ralph served on numerous boards and committees. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, whose example and life impacted many. Preceding him in death were his parents; and siblings, Eugene, Lorain (L.J.), Mary, Ramona, Evelyn, and Harold. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; daughters Terri (Allan) Smith, Frankfort, KS, and Tami (Greg) Routh, Liberty, MO; son, John Miller, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Paul (Delores) Miller, Valley Falls, KS, and sister Pearl Raugewitz, Topeka, KS; nine grandchildren, Jarrod (Katy) Smith, Josh (Vicki) Smith, Megan (Brennon) Dorrance, Logan (Hannah) Routh, Garrett Routh, Sydney (Michael) Shanahan, Kelsey Miller, Taylor Miller and Avery Miller; and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established to Annunciation Catholic Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel.
