Robert "Bob" K. Nork, 95, of Marysville, KS, died October 16, 2020 at Marysville. Visitation was Tuesday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A graveside funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 21 at the Marysville City Cemetery. Gary Phillips officiated. The pallbearers were Elise Slupianek, Brandon and Jennifer Milner, Whitney Milner and Mitchell Rengstorf, Allyson and Daryl Wetter. Bob was born January 11, 1925 at Marysville to Hjalmar A. and Linna (Ackerman) Nork. He graduated Marysville High School and then served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After his honorable discharge, Bob returned to Marysville then attended watchmaking school in Kansas City. He returned to Marysville and worked in the family business, Ackerman Jewelry, until his retirement at age 62. Bob was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf and working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Patricia; and brother, Norman Nork. Survivors include his children, Joni (Ron) Milner and Buff (Warren) Slupianek, all of Marysville; four grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Milner, Whitney Milner, Allyson (Daryl) Wetter and Elise Slupianek; three great grandchildren, Perry Wetter, Ryland Wetter and Alexandra Milner; sister-in-law, Phyllis Libby; and his dog, Mikey. A memorial fund has been established to the Prairie Valley Vet Pet Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
