Roberta L. McMullen, 59, of Marysville, KS, passed away at Cambridge Place.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at Winifred Baptist Church 110 W 2nd Ave, Frankfort, KS 66427. 

Roberta was born on October 27, 1964, in Kansas City, MO, to Lawrence and Dora Lee (Cameron) Wilson.   For the majority of her childhood, she was raised in Independence, MO, until moving to Rich Hill, MO, where she finished her education.  Roberta attended Grace Assembly Church with Pastor Art Egger and participated in children's church and VBS.  In her younger years, Roberta gave her heart to the Lord and accepted him as her personal Savior.  After high school, she started working for different nursing homes in the area.  In 1993, Roberta moved to Overland Park, KS, and met the love of her life, George.  They began dating and soon married on March 18, 1995, sharing 29 years of marriage. 

In 2003, Roberta and George moved to Centralia, KS, and in 2007 moved to Butler, MO, to help care for her mother.  After her mom's passing in 2012, they moved back to Centralia, then to Frankfort, KS, and finally to Marysville where they resided. 

Roberta was a loving wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.  Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family and many friends.  She will be missed and will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and brothers, Ronald and Larry.

Survivors include her husband, George; sisters, Judy Richardson, Kansas City, MO and Janice Lee, Ottawa, KS; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Ronnie) Martinez, Jeremy Richardson, Independence, MO, Sarah Lee (Nathan) Morgan, Ottawa, John (Ashleigh) Lee, Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew (Sarah) Lee, Overland Park; great nieces and nephews, Tyler (Becky) Richardson, Independence, Lacy Richardson, Sweet Springs, MO; great-great nieces and nephews Adrien Lee, Noah Lee, Fiona Lee and Jameson Lee of Overland Park, Grant Morgan, Lily Morgan and Violet Morgan, Ottawa, and Clover Lee, Crimson Lee and Cyane Lee, Colorado Springs; sisters-in-law, Elly (Nathan) Moeller, Overland Park and Cathy Scott, Olathe; brother-in-law, James (Charolene), Centralia; nieces and nephews, Paul Campbell, Overland Park, Amber Scott, CA, Chris (Sara) McMullen, Hiawatha, KS, and Jamie McMullen, Corning, KS; great nieces and nephews, Colton McMullen, Manhattan, KS, Koen McMullen, Liam McMullen, Taryn McMullen and James McMullen, Hiawatha; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
