Rochelle A. Loeffler

Rochelle Anne Loeffler, 60, of Home, KS, joined her Savior in Glory on November 20, 2020 at her home. She is unfortunately another victim of COVID-19. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, December 1 at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Alan and Rochelle will be laid to rest, side-by-side in the Home Cemetery privately on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Due to COVID-19 there will not be a service. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at some time in the future. Rochelle was born September 4, 1960 in Schenectady, New York. She was raised outside a small town in the country by her mother, Rochelle Burns and her stepfather Larry Burns, along with her three brothers. She was in the band and on the cheerleading squad at Amsterdam High School, NY, where she graduated from in 1978. After graduating, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri and began a twenty-year career with the Army Corps of Engineers as an Information Technology Specialist. In August 2004, she moved to Marshall County and resided on a country homestead just outside of Home City. She remarried her first love, Alan Loeffler, on May 3, 2014. Alan joined her in Heaven on November 21, 2020. Rochelle was passionate about sharing her love for Jesus and attended Marysville Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed flower arranging, country sunsets and playing the piano. She is survived by two daughters who were the lights of her life. She was an adoring and loving Mother to Danielle Ahern, Manhattan, KS, and Eva Ahern, Home City, KS, as well as 3 brothers: James Smith of Killeen, Texas, Edward Smith of Eagle Pass, Texas, and Brian Smith of Kapolei, Hawaii.
