Ronald L. Smith, 85, Marysville, formerly of Oketo, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Cambridge Place in Marysville.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Friday, November 23 at Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 24, at the First Christian Church, Marysville.Burial will be in North Elm Cemetery, Oketo. Ronald was born at Oketo on July 17, 1933 to Howard and Anna (Malicky) Smith.  He graduated from Barneston High School and was a life time farmer. Ronald was a member of the North Elm Christian Church in Oketo until it burned then transferred to Wymore Christian Church.  Then later he belonged to the First Christian Church in Marysville. Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister Betty Meyer. Survivors include his niece, Kimberly Meyer; great niece, Jennifer Barnhart; great nephews, Andrew Jones, Cody Jones, Cory Jones; and great-great niece Zoey Barnhart.A memorial fund is established to be designated later.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.
