Sandra Dianne Penn, 70, Topeka, formerly of Vermillion, died March 6, 2023 at Lexington Park Health & Rehab in Topeka. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., March 25 at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. Rev. Shannon Borgman will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Alisha DeLeon, Alissa Gerdes, Tristen Kramer, Dalton Kramer and Daykon Kramer. Burial will be in the Vermillion City Cemetery. Sandra was born April 4, 1952 in Onaga, KS to Delbert and Violet (Bestwick) Rose. She graduated from Pawnee City High School in Pawnee City, NE and Highland Community College. On February 12, 1972, she married Emmett Kramer in Baileyville, KS. To this union three children were born. He preceded her in death. She later married James Creevan and Daniel Penn, both of whom preceded her. Sandra was a homemaker and worked as a CNA, CMA, cook and drove a semi. She enjoyed making crafts, knitting, crocheting, painting and doing paper mâché. Preceding her in death were her parents; three husbands, Emmett Kramer, James Creevan and Daniel Penn; brothers, Larry Rose and Jeff Rose; and sister, Pam Gouty. Survivors include her children, Sherri (Frank) DeLeon, Topeka, Jamie (Angie) Kramer, Pawnee City, NE, and Chris (Tonya) Kramer, Johnson, NE; five grandchildren, Alisha DeLeon, Alissa Gerdes, Tristen Kramer, Dalton Kramer, Daykon Kramer; three sisters Vicky, Linda, and Kim. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort, KS.
