Sharon Joann Throm, 77, of Marysville, KS, died August 20, 2021, at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 25 at Kinsley Mortuary. Private burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Sharon was born August 9, 1944, at Marysville, KS, daughter of William C. and Nellie Faye (DeShazer) Walters. On April 19, 1968, she married Everett C. Throm, Jr., at Marysville. Sharon worked at June’s Bar & Grill and Marilyn’s Café in Marysville, she also did house cleaning, ironing and laundry. She enjoyed playing Bingo, NASCAR and going to car races in the area, riding around and going out to eat at various places. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Throm in 1994; brother, Bill Walters; and brother-in-law, Bill Orr. Survivors include her husband, Everett C. Throm, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Wisdom, Marysville; sister, Pamela Orr, Blue Rapids, KS; half-sisters, Roberta (Jerry) Tiemeyer and Gailya Hearn, both of Marysville; two grandchildren, Megan Throm and Breindel Wisdom; and one great granddaughter, Ivy Rosine. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
