Verda E. Pralle

Verda E. Pralle, 87, of Bremen, KS, died July 30, 2020 at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. Visitation was Monday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary. A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4 at Immanuel (Hermansberg) Lutheran Church near Bremen. Rev. Leroy Pralle officiated. The organist was Kathy Pralle. Music included “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace”, “Abide with Me” and “I Want to Stroll Over Heaven with You”. The pallbearers were Alex Pralle, Zach Pralle, Adam Pralle, Andy Pralle, Jay Kearn and Nick Bruna. The honorary pallbearers were Mandy Klipp, Jessica Penner, Nicole Kearn, Sara Peterson, Raechel Bruna and Cassie Pralle. Burial was in the Immanuel (Hermansberg) Lutheran Cemetery. Verda was born on the farm north of Bremen on January 7, 1933 to Carl and Marie (Schotte) Holle. She attended Hermansberg Grade School near Bremen. On September 5, 1954, Verda was united in marriage to Ludwig Otto Pralle. They were blessed with four children, Dale, Pam, Galen and Mark. She was a farm wife and homemaker and worked fifteen years for Tension Envelope. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, liked traveling and growing flowers. In her own words, “I love my faith, my loving family and my very good friends, farm living and tending flowers”. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ludwig in 2001; sisters, Wilma Holle and Norma Urban; brothers-in-law, Cliff Urban and Robert Henrichs; and two grandchildren, Eric Pralle and Garrett Klipp. Survivors include her children, Dale (Jenny) Pralle, Bremen, Pam (Jim) Goeckel, Hanover, Galen (Ruth Ann) Pralle, Marysville, and Mark (Michelle) Pralle, Lenexa, KS; sisters, Darlene Henrichs, Odell, NE, and Lola (Bill) Meyer, Crete, NE; ten grandchildren, Alex Pralle, Zach Pralle, Adam (Eireson) Pralle, Andy Pralle, Nicole (Jay) Kearn, Raechel (Nick) Bruna, Mandy (Andy) Klipp, Jessica (Jon) Penner, Sarah (Erik) Peterson and Cassie Pralle; and eleven great grandchildren.
