Wanita K. Busch

Wanita Kay Busch, 69, of Marysville passed away February 5, 2022, at the Frankfort Community Care Home. Visitation will be Friday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, at the Berean Church in Marysville. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Wanita was born on July 18, 1952 to LeRoy and Ruby Detimore in Holton, KS. After graduating from Marysville High School in Marysville she was a receptionist at Community Memorial Hospital for several years. On May 21, 1972, she married Gary Lee Busch at Marysville. Together they had two sons, Lee and Tim, and daughter, Anita. They later adopted three of their grandchildren, Makala Busch, Amanda Everett (Busch) and Ivory Busch. She was a firm believer that God is with us always and is the one that takes care of us. Wanita and Gary owned and operated Busch's Painting for 35 years. When she wasn't working she loved baking, being outside watching nature and playing with her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Busch; son, Lee Busch; sisters, Edna Barnett (Detimore) and Martha Dierking (Detimore); brother-in-law, Steve Busch; nephews, Lucas, Josiah; and niece, Amber. Survivors include her daughter, Anita Busch, Marysville; son, Timothy Busch, Marysville; granddaughters, Makala Busch, Marysville, Amanda Everett, Caldwell, TX, and Ivory Busch, Marysville; two great-grandchildren that she loved very much, Aris VanAlst and Oaklinn Delgado; siblings, Jean (Terry) Ungerer, Laura (Kent) Nester, Karen (Rick) Owens, Alice (James) Esslinger and Alan (Amy) Detimore; in-laws, Linda (Byron) Nemechek, Kathy Busch, Pam (Leonhard) Stohs, Rick Busch, Terri (Dean) Luckeroth and Brenda (Dirk) Holland. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
