William P. “Bill” Marksman, 87, Frankfort, KS, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Frankfort Community Care Home. Visitation is noon to 5 p.m., Thursday, November 7, at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, November 7, at Annunciation Catholic Church, Frankfort. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m., Friday, November 8, at Annunciation Catholic Church. Father Mathew Francis will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort. William was born June 7, 1932 at Frankfort, KS to Francis and Teresa (Deneke) Marksman. He graduated from Frankfort High School. William worked with the maintenance department for Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the UPPR Oldtimers Club. Preceding him in death were his parents; twin brother, James; brothers, John Marksman, Paul Marksman; and sisters, Rose Augustine, Elizabeth Hoffman and Anne Feltner. Survivors include sister, Teresa Kuckelman, Frankfort; and nieces and nephews. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort.
