Dawn Marie Elliott

Dawn Marie Elliot, 38, Marysville, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at BryanLGH Medical Center in Lincoln. A service will be at a later date in La Grange, Mo. Dawn Elliot was born Sept. 16, 1971, at Columbia, Mo., the daughter of Gerald Wayne and Linda Sue Smith Elliot. She graduated from Highland High School. She lived in Fayetteville, Ark., before she moved to Marysville with her children. While at Marysville, she worked at a nursing home for two years before becoming the assistant manager at Casey’s General Store. Survivors include her sons, Mark and Jayquinn Clay, Marysville; daughters, Iesha Clay, Marysville, and Melissa Walker, Springfield, Ill.; mother and step-father, Linda and Gene Back, La Grange; brother, Gerald Elliot Jr., La Grange; sisters, Shannon Washington and Tamara Kennedy, both of Quincy, Ill.; and grandmothers Ella Bock, Palmyra, Mo., and Louise Chapman, Hannibal, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents Charles Smith, Zola Ellis, Charles Elliot and Alfred Bock. Kinsley Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
